我在Practical English Usage的第482.2辭條(非頁數)中看到一個說法:
它說間接問句中 以疑問詞who/what/which+be+補語時，be動詞可放在補語前或後。他還給了例句:
直述句: Who's the best player here?
間接問句: She asked me who was the best player.
She asked me who the best player was .
它說上下2句都能說，這跟我以前在文法書中學到的不一樣，以前的文法書中都說間接問句裡以Wh-疑問詞的名詞子句的詞序為：Wh-疑問詞+主詞+受詞，可是以Practical English Usage的說法來看，該名詞子句也可以用疑問句的句型來寫呢！請問到底是誰的說法才是對的呢？謝謝！

我可不可以改造成:

問題(二): 以下的那個句子才對 ?

問題(三):

為什麼要用 as much as? 1500pounds不是可數的嗎？

小弟不才，上次問了關於疑問詞和關係詞的部分，我想應該弄通了，現在我看複合關係詞，又出現了一點問題，但我覺的其實是和我上次問的問題是相通的，因此我把二者整理一下(不知有沒有錯的地方，請大大們幫我看一下)，還有一些問題，也請大大們是否可以耐心和完整的回答，感激不盡。
(1)You may come(when you like).-->此句可視為 when所引導的名子或副子(語意已完整);翻譯時也差不多(名子)你可以在任何你想要來的時候來。(副子)( )前加，當你想要來時，都可以來。
when不可等於at when (因為when 為疑問副詞所引導的名子或副子)
(2)複合關係副詞使用時機為(沒有前述詞，且用複合關係副詞把二個句子串起來)
(A)You may come whenever you like.=(B)You may come at any time when you like.
(A)(B)中(A)的whenever為複合關係副詞 (B)的when為關副(whenever=at
any time when)(但有個問題when可以省略嗎？)EX:（Peter will never forget
the day Ross kissed her.）( 關副可省略，那上述(B)的when可省略嗎?)
(1)when(疑問副詞) 和（A）(B)差在後者的語氣比較強烈（同樣前面都沒前述詞）。所以何時用複合關係詞取定於(1)沒有前述詞(2)要使用較強的語氣。
(C)Whenever you like, you may come.
(D) Whoever did this, he would be punished.= (No matter who)did this, he would be punished.=(Any one who) did this , he would be punished.
(C)(D)二個都是複合關係詞，詞性不同而已，二者皆引導副詞子句---我(CD)二句有寫錯嗎?
