Want to attend WWE show n College Station on June 23. Then atttend WWE Pay-Per View in Houston's Toyota Center on June 24. Would need to leave College Station early to get a good spot in line in front of Toyota Center. The only bus that day leaves at 5:25 pm and arrives at 7:45p. That's way too late. I would miss the first hour or so. Oh and already bought ppv ticket in February. NEED SOME HELP, PLEASE.

I'm a graphic designer from NYC, and I'm looking for a city in Texas for jobs, housing and art community.

My husband has traveled everywhere and unfortunately I'm sooooo NYC mentality. In my eyes, NYC is everything especially as a designer. Galleries, theater, people, shopping etc. I love walking in central park, going to the met, shopping and having the diversities of people from every walk of life.

Recently, we've made some trips for his conferences and we just got back from Minneapolis and I realized how wonderful it really can be outside of NYC. Maybe I'm not giving Texas a chance. We were in Houston with some friends who were really conservative. Maybe my perspective was skewed by these personalities.

So I'm thinking of planning another trip but I'm looking for some suggestions. Does Texas have any artsy communities with culture, museums and a young vibe? Thanks for your help.

and a so-called chinatown. It sounds to me like a wannabe NYC. Houston is not big time. Nothing here is sophisticated. And to me, Houston is full of people trying to keep up with New Yorkers and people from Cali. kind of like the saying "keeping up with the Jones's".

I am moving from St. Louis to Houston for a job and just wondering what areas were good and bad. The office is located in Champions I believe. Would like to stay close to there. I don't have any children so I am not too worried about the schools. Just wanted to get an idea of what to expect and what kind of area it is. Thank you in advance.

I would like to know if Houston has the Bible belt mentality. I don’t expect it to be socially progressive, but would like to know if it can be a dwelling place of an agnostic Jewish Russian immigrant. Also, is there a literary scene? Anything to do besides restaurants or bars? Is the weather less humid if living right by the water? Are people genuinely nice or pretentious/fake/insincere? Any incite would be helpful. Thanks!

Moving there next month and hung up on deciding between Stafford, Missouri City, Pearland, and Sugar Land. I know Pearland is South but seems a bit less pricey. Stafford is the closest to Houston, and yet is far cheaper. What gives? Is it not a nice place to live? Also, I am strongly considering moving to the Riverstone community off of Hwy 6. How far of a commute would it be from there to downtown Houston? Thanks in advance.

In the first main room, after entering, there is a painting on the wall near the exit to the next room. It is a large painting and it has an aqueduct/bridge in it with a countryside setting. Also, the caption with it talks about that artist spending time in Spoleto, Italy and using that as influence in this painting. I am wanting to find out who this artist was and what is the name of this painting. Thanks!

...from rural Kentucky.

The people I've met from TEXAS have been, by and large, very helpful and friendly, and that's the primary reason I'd be moving to Texas (because I'm the same way!) I'm intelligent, responsible, and college-educated. I'm also looking for a reasonable cost of living (not breaking the bank to pay for an apartment), low crime, a great singles life, and access to arts and culture.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I've been to Galveston a few times, and each time the ocean there is fairly dirty and sandy (all from the Mississippi, I believe). I'm curious how much futher south you'd need to go in Texas before you could find beach area without the dirty ocean water. Corpus?

Thanks.
