I try to enhance my accent to sound even more Southern just so I don't sound like a damn yankee.
my biggest shame is that my mother is from new york, so I'm a half-yankee

Though it is quite obvious that you have made a few grammatical errors, I will answer based on what I assume is your original question.
I would have to say that the answer is 0. And yes, 0 is a possible answer. You have posed a very one-sided question here, one that is based on your own subjective, twisted, and very strange view on us Southerners. AJ, in all seriousness sweetheart, do you really expect us to entertain this ridiculous rating scale that you have introduced? Sorry, but it's not likely that that will happen. Northerners do their thing, and Southerners also have their ways of doing things. Not only that, but given that we all are a part of this modern society/nation we call AMERICA, it is quite safe to say that there will always be some similarities between the two regions. You have to know this!
To be quite honest, in reading some of you previous questions, I thought for a long time that you were just one of those types that like to get a "rise" out of other people--meaning, you thrive on insulting other individuals. However, after paying close attention to the nature of your questions and how often you pose them, I have concluded that you are quite obsessed with the South and you don't know how to handle it. Now I know, you'll probably put in an additional comment making yet another off-the-wall statement about us Southerners and you know what? I definitely won't be mad at you. You have a problem, my friend, and being the good, educated HOUSTONIAN that I am, I greatly recognize that fact and will hope that you will one day get better. Take care!
By the way, I don't drink...

0 since I am not envious at all, and you need to write your questions better. If I'd not already had 2 glasses of wine I doubt I'd have even understood you.
*************ahh you must have missed my point about your horrible grammar and the wording of your question and you didn't provide an option for those of us who have NO desire to be like northerners so 0 was a perfect answer. Besides my being slightly drunk does not reflect well on you since I am drinking and can still write better than you.

How about -10! I lived in NY state (Rochester) and while I met many fine people there, I've also never experienced so much snobbery. Many of the people that I talked to had preconceived notions of southern people being bigots. (Hmmm .... interesting!)
By the way, the weather is intolerable! Brutally cold! Don't even bother for a visit!

-10. Yes, negative 10.
Once you get above the Tennessee state line--much less, above the Kentucky or North Carolina state lines--people become much more closed-minded and even bigoted toward people who don't mesh with their culture. Just the way it is.
Rock on Texas and Louisiana! And, we don't mind if a northerner comes down, just as long as they are polite, fairly pleasant, and respect our land and culture (and there are a few out there.) Other than that, our people just rock!

First of all, let's get the grammar together sweet pea... Second, the only thing that us "northerners" have in common is the fact that we are from the north!! We are all different people, from many places, so therefore we CAN'T be classified! I've been down south plenty of times.. I've met people that were nice, and some not so nice.. But who am I to say that ALL "southerners" are nasty people!!?? How old are we??

-100, the north sucks, I love it down here, everyones' so much nicer and happier here than in the north, and yes, I have been to Washington DC and Boston, so I know what it's like up there. You really need to stop posting such stupid questions AJ, and yes, there is such a thing as a stupid question.

I live in the deep South, and I love it. I have no desire to be like northerners. Do you? What's to envy? We have it made down here.

-4.
Northerners are fat, rude, envious, and obnoxious. Someone else also said "bigoted." That fits, too. Case in point, this question's asker.
