Have you noticed so many interracial couples in north Houston ? my goodness I was shocked to see such an open minded people in the south. Never expected it. Good job Houston!!

North Houston is not necessarily the wealthier area. It is mainly the suburbs of Houston that are wealthy and there are quite a few wealthy areas inside of Houston, i.e. River Oaks, Bellaire/Medical center area. I am from Sugar Land and there are a lot of interracial relationships here also. It's nice to see that to see that Houston is not so close-minded like how it used to be.

What did you think we were: rednecks who lived on ranches and rode horses? We don't need congratulations, but you could use an education regarding the rest of your country. Houston is one of the most multicultural metropolitan areas in the nation. And why would you think that we in the "north" of Houston would be so close-minded? Are hard-working, well-educated, upper middle class people prone to be more negative? I feel rather insulted.

This is nothing new, but thanks for noticing.
My wife is human, but I am one of the Mole People! It is especially noticeable first thing in the morning. Scares the paper boy when I come out onto the front porch!
EDIT: The far north side is no weathier than the west side, or Sugar Land, or Clear Lake sweetie... and the near north side is little more than a collection of ramshackle housing and cheap apartments.

in case you quite like a individual, shade or nationality shouldn't get in the way. however the returned, interracial courting would be a difficulty via relatives. some relatives would criticize on your determination of courting. My view: My view would not rely, interracial courting could be considered by ability of the human beings in the courting, not the onseers.
