I'm looking to move to League City or someplace nera there, but work off of 610 next to the Ship Channel Bridge. Just looking to see what traffic is like in the morning heading north on 45.

It's on the corner across from the North West Mall where 610 West and Hwy 290 meet. It's also across from the LOGIX building? It has an applebees in the parking lot.

Why is it the roads all over Houston are so bad? Some of them just have potholes every where and are just rough. I have never seen such bad roads except in Mexico.

Will be in texas for 8 days and have two days that we don't have any plans for? What would be a good town to check out within a 100 miles or so of Houston? We are up for anything: old (ghost towns, museums), fun, whatever....? Thanks all!

My brother in law missed his connecting flight and he's stuck in Paris. He teaches Vietnamese nuns on Saturday's and he will not be able to make it. I was told it is in Missouri City, which is thirty miles from Houston, information does not show a convent there. Any ideas, suggestions, help would be greatly appreciated so the nuns won't be waiting in vain for him.

I know this is the travel section, but I had no luck in the other sections getting answers. I figured why not go local! Anyways, I have an interview there next week and just wanted some advice. Assuming I get the job, I will be working at the Oak Park facility in the Oil Field division.

How is it working there? What is the culture like? Do you have to wear a suit everyday, or is it business casual? Also, I will be traveling A LOT, so when you fly overseas, do they get you a business class seat? I won't take it if I have to fly 18 hours in coach, that's just torture.

Also, I'm applying for a Sr. Mgr position. When they ask me what I'm looking for money, I'm not sure what to say. Anyone have any idea on the salary range for that kind of position? I'm at 120k plus bonus now, is that in the ballpark?

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. I really want this job!
