Which kind of jazz? Fusion? Dixieland?
My one trip to the Skybar was for jazz. I wasn't happy with the service, but the music was good. I'm more of a blues guy (and I'd recommend Shakespeare's on Memorial and Kirkwood for that).

I would recommend Sambuca...it draws an "older" crowd (30s-40s) but everything there is high quality. Web site link is:
