Yes, these are some of the best places. They have been getting more and more crowded though. The traffic is terrible on NASA Rd. 1 ALL THE TIME! But, it does have a great family atmosphere and you there's a LOT to do for all ages!

Probably one of the best! I live in a metro area of Houston, some 15 miles from Kemah & Clearlake, and it's where I really would like to live! Clearlake Schools are highly recognized and very advanced. School taxes are high over there, but it is so worth it. You will find some of the best people on Earth in that area! It's such a great place both for kiddos and adults. I can't say enough about it.

Best of luck!

If you acn afford to buy house in South Shore Harbor, you will be doing great. If you find a Perry Home there, you've found the best there is. Do not send your children to Dickinson ISD Junior High or Senior High Schools. Stay in Clear Creek and Clear Lake ISD. Dickinson elementary schools are nice, but the others are out of control and the administration is greedy. The best school district around here is Friendswood ISD, a very nice place to live, closer to Houston. The traffic is crazy crowded all over the city, including these areas. My advice is to find a great school district close to where your work will be. You do NOT want to commute in this traffic. You might want to consider living closer in if you work downtown.

Definitely so, but make sure you have a job near there. I know people who take an hour to commute from League City to Stafford in the morning. Some day they'll add a few more lanes to the tollway like they're doing on the west side.

My brother lived in Kemah and it rocked. I loved being able to drive the golf cart to Target and then riding down to the boat and going fishing.

Yep, lots of water, good restaurants, Kemah has great entertainment, and NASA is there, you cant beat it.

I've never been, but i hear it's real nice--Lots of golf and trees and nature and stuff--not too many Blacks, Mexicans, Jews, or other undesirables.
