THE place to be for St. Patrick's Day is always Keneally's (sp?) on Shepherd, which also surprisingly has some of the best pizza in town.

THE places to be are Mr. C's Irish Pub or Mr. C's Irish Rover. The first is on the southwest corner of Katy Freeway at Bunker Hill. The second is at the northwest corner of Westheimer at Seagler. Both are in strip centers. Both are lots of fun.

Of course I will be at the Sirrom's School of Dance watching my wife's first bellydance solo :)

No offense, but Sherlocks has always struck me as a place for amateur hour, especially since both it and Baker Street are ENGLISH pubs.

If I'm in the bay area, I go to The Bayview Duck on HWY 146 in Bayview for authentic Irish gatherings, ceilis, music and food.
