In Houston, the firms listed below offer currency exchange to the general public; call for current exchange rates and hours of operation.

Bank of America (700 Louisiana, PHONE: 713/247-6033).

Chase Bank (712 Main St., PHONE: 888/242-7384).

Thomas Cook Foreign Exchange (10777 Westheimer, Suite 105, PHONE: 713/782-8092).

Hope this helps!

You should be able to change money at any major bank. I would suggest going to a bank that you have an account at so as to avoid the service charge.

Have you tried a bank? Most banks will exchange foreign money. They may charge a fee, and they will probably only exchange paper money (coins cost more to process and aren't worth much).

Any major bank, plus you can go to American Express offices. They give you a discount if you are a cardholder.

Yes you can. There should be a currency exchange. Look in your phone book or call your bank and they can tell you what to do!
