I'm going to guess at what you're asking, because this question makes absolutely no sense.
Whether you take a car or a bus, the distance would be the same... to a bus terminal, whether from south Dallas or whatever.
It would be farther to fly, because no airports are in South Dallas, and you'd probably be flying Southwest Airlines to Hobby airport, in south Houston.
Would you care to reword this? If so, maybe I can give you a more concise answer.

hmmmm - well from south dallas to houston is shorter than your nearest bus station to Houston. Not sure what the question is. Try again

anywhere you go on a bus is going to seem far. houston is only 4 hours form dallas.
