I was wondering if miami florida is nice or is it drug infested. I was also wanting to know the travel time that it takes to get from pensacola florida to miami florida. I was wanting to know of things to do whenever I go to miami florida.

Hello, I am flying into LAX tomorrow from PDX to attend a concert at Staples. I have eight hours before and after the concert to find something to do with. I would like to see the walk of stars, and the "Hollywood" sign during the day, and maybe go check out a couple gay bars after the show.

What places do you recommend?

What places should I stay away from?

My schedule is:Dec. 5th Leave PDX 10:25am, arrive LAX 12:40pm.
Return trip home: Dec. 6th Leave LAX 8:20am, arrive PDX 10:25pm

I will be staying with a friend, but I have never been to LA before and this is my Christmas present to myself and I wanna have a great time! Most of the time I will be by myself.

Ok I'm planning on running away to california for a weekend to see what its like. My mom said that next summer she will take me to Hollywood and L.A and San Fran, but I really wanna go to Oakland too. She said if I can give her 3 good reasons to go to oakland she will take me. What are some good reasons?? I just really wanna go because one of my fave celebs are there and he isnt very popular right now and I know where he lives (haha I know im a stalker but w/e) but I can't tell that to my mom, so I need some good things about oakland that will convince her?
