I was wondering if miami florida is nice or is it drug infested. I was also wanting to know the travel time that it takes to get from pensacola florida to miami florida. I was wanting to know of things to do whenever I go to miami florida.

i went through pensacola on my long drive moving to miami, im from the Mississippi coast, and it took around 13 hours in a uhaul truck. miami is wonderful, IF.......you are in miami beach. if you go outside miami beach its almost all spanish speakers who refuse to speak english to you, if they even speak it at all, and there are some areas that are not so pretty with homeless and drugs. but just stay away from there and stay on miami beach cuz its GREAT. south beach, bal harbour, surfside, sunny isles, aventura, all very pretty. if you like to part then you gotta hit south beach and ocean drive, if you like to shop then its bal harbour shops definitely, if you wanna relax and walk and eat then i love it off collins in sunny isles.

Drugs have infested every part of our nation, from big cities to small farming towns in the midwest. Like any city, if you stay out of the high crime areas, you'll find Miami to be a beautiiful place to visit. We have some of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast, warm climate, great nightclubs, and tons of activities.
There are lots of clubs and bars on South Beach, but plenty of other things to do. You could hang out on the beach, do some shopping, and visit places like Viscaya, Bayside Marketplace, Miami Seaquarium, Coconut Grove, or head down to the Keys for a day or two where you can scuba, snorkel and deep sea fish.

From Penscola to Miami should be about 10 Hrs. if your driving at the limit.
Miami of the 80's is nothing like the Miami of 2007.
Of course there is violence, and drugs...but what major city doesn't have these problems?
Miami and Miami Beach are completely different. Miami Beach is were all the tourism is at. It is here that you will find the shops, art galleries, nightlife(clubs/lounges/bars) and restaurants.
