i live in texas so our winters are actually mostly cool days, ice happens like somtimes once a year so when that happens no one likes to drive. In colder states it seems like ice is almost always on the streets so how do colder state drivers cope with that?

I have been to Florida twice, and most of the Eastern states, but , New York City is my favorite, nothing beats the Big Apple, at least in my eyes, but a close second is the Ocean!

that his numbers make him look better. I know that fenway is a hitters park but he pulls most of his home runs to over the rightfield fence which is very far. And more over most of his homeruns since coming to the redsox have been away from fenway. are you that dumb.

My friend and I are planning a trip to Las Vegas within the next month or two and are trying to find an inexpensive hotel to stay at for a few nights. We've stayed at the Orleans before, which we really liked. We even once got an incredible deal for like $30/night. I found some web site that had the price and they matched it for us. Now it seems all the hotels around that time are going for like $70+. Does anyone know of a web site or anything else that gives great deals on hotels? We're planning on staying for a few nights and really don't want our hotel to be one of the most expensive things. Thanks for any help.

Ok, so I realize that you cant base a state on one city alone, but I have been in LA for a year, and I really am having a hard time coming up with good qualities of this city. I thought I was alone, until I meet people from the east coast, and they feel the same way. Maybe I am missing something, but after moving from Boston, I realized that LA fails to compare. Dont worry, I am moving back east. LA isnt a huge disapointment, because its exactly what I expected in terms of the quality of life, or lack their of. Thanks

Me and my friends are from Florida and we wanted to spend 2 nights at a cabing or lodge (something more interesting than a hotel). We also want a lot of snow. What are some good locations in the North Carolina or South Carolina area?
We want to go around early January but late January would work as well.

I LOVE your city. I went into the city yesterday with two daughers who are dancers. We went to see the tree and ice skaters, the Rockettes, ate at Bubba Gumps, shopped, shopped and shopped more, saw the Macy's windows, Toys R Us, Sephora all the stores - did almost get hit by a bus but otherwise the day was perfect. I love the city and all who choose to call it home. Thank you for welcoming me :)

My mom is 64 and loves to gamble. I am taking her to Vegas next month. Other than gambling is there anything there that a 64 y/o would enjoy in Vegas? Just looking for some good ideas for non-gambling time. Thanks!
