United States - December 2007

I am going to New York City tomorrow and my plane arrrives at La Guardia at 9:00am. The check in time at the Best Western we are stayign at is 3:00pm. We only have 3 days in NYC, so I don't want to waste half of a day carring around the luggage. Where can I put it?

Has anyone else run into a problem like this?

My girl is in hawaii taking care of her mom and im thinking about going there for the summer because she want be back with me for awhile so im thinking about staying there for the summer.Probally 3 mths so that way i can go back to school in next fall.Looking for something about 800 dollars.I could probally transfer to the lowes out there.So does anyone know?

ok...I live in Connecticut and my husband bought us tickets to see the Christmas Spectacular show in New York City at Radio City Music Hall. He bought the tickets about a month ago and they cost over $300. Well we are supposed to get a pretty big snow/ice storm here on Sunday (for 24 hours) and now I dont know what to do. He still wants to go and thinks that train ride will be totally safe....however we still have to drive 45minutes to get to the train......These tickets were a very rare purchase for us as we do not ordinarly have the money to spend on things like this and it would be awful to just throw them away....Please help and try to give me some thoughts on what you would do. Try to put yourself in my shoes.....I have wanted to see this show since I was a little girl...but I get VERY nervous being on the road in bad weather. What do you think.?

How long and from where to where, or miles travelled?
Can you beat me? Took me 4 hours even to go 9 miles. From watertown center to Everett. 2 hours in Memorial Drive alone!!!!

Well, it's winter here in the eastern part of USA and we had a reminder of it yesterday with a foot of snow falling within a few hours. Traffic was in a gridlock and a lot of commuters were stuck in the highways for many hours.
In my case I made it home safely with only 2 hours commute (it usually takes me 1 hour) but my daughter was stuck for 3 hours,something that usually takes her 20 minutes....
Did anyone else get stuck yesterday?HOw long was your commute?

Hello, I will be going to a game at the Edward Jones dome this weekend and I think we are going to be staying all night the night before. We were wanting to get some xmas shopping done, but I am completely lost in St. Louis. Does anyone know where I can shop or know of any decent hotels in that area? I know this sounds silly....but what are the chances of getting knocked over by the wind if you're driving from Vegas to LA? What is the singles/dating scene like in Seattle for a single guy? Are the women into the metrosexual/sophisticated type or the causal t-shirt and jeans guy. Also, I hear that the women there don't really care too much about fashion and. the tv shows are so wierd??? Today I turned on Grey's Anatomy and it was in Spanish and a bunch of shows have been that way lately on Fox too. Cops was that way Saturday. Also on the court shows like csi and ncis have that stupid commentary going on thru the whole show. I thought maybe it was my tv but not all the shows are that way... Does anyone know why??
