June 21st is the longest day of the year, and in Alaska that day can be extremely long. sunset is around 11:30pm and sunrise around 4am,

they have lots of special activities to celebrate

I went up there in June this year and really enjoyed the trip. The weather was great most of the time, and it wasn't as crowded as I would expect it would be in July and August. And, as has already been mentioned, there is the longest day of the year in June - I would think that would be a great thing to be in Alaska for.

Depends on what you want to do. There is no snow during the summer....June thru August/early Sept.....and very cold and snowy most of the rest of the year. Alaska in the Winter is lots of fun. Mostly dark out, but the Northern Lights are fantastic.

my friends has been to alaska, she went during the summer. she said it was nice there. so, i hope that helped
