Six hours. Longwood to Mattapan. Left right after lunch.

I actually started getting snow pile up on my car while I was stuck in traffic. I had enough time to get out of my car and clean off all the snow (probably 2 - 3 inches). Got some people angry but we weren't going anywhere anyways.

My Mom left South Boston at 1:30, and got home in Braintree at 7:15 - it took 2 hours just to go from South Shore Plaza to home (about 2 mi away)

It took me 2 hours, (usually it's about 1 hour commute) but it took my daughter 3 hours to come home from Boston, about 6 miles away!

I take the #1 bus from BU Med Ctr to Harvard, and after 35 minutes down Mass Ave, we had gone a distance that normally takes about 4 minutes. At that point, I got out and walked to Kendall to take the red line to Harvard. Door to door it was about 2 hours- not as bad as a lot of other folks had it.

4 hours to go 9 miles? That's crazy! You probably would be faster walking!

I am so happy that I left at noon otherwise it would have taken me at least that long.
