Me and my friends are from Florida and we wanted to spend 2 nights at a cabing or lodge (something more interesting than a hotel). We also want a lot of snow. What are some good locations in the North Carolina or South Carolina area?
We want to go around early January but late January would work as well.

Why not Vermont or Maine? More likely to have snow there since there already is snow there now.

You'll have to go the Smokey Mountains
