I think the Bellagio has BEAUTIFUL botanical gardens this type of year.

You could try the Springs Preserve. On Fri, Sat, and Sun from 6-10pm they're having holiday lights, jazz, hot chocolate, food... my ten year old daughter and I love visiting. ($4 adults, $2 kids --- if you want to get into the animal exhibits and stuff, it's more money.)

There's a nice drive through light show at Sunset Park every year. I don't remember how much it costs, but they give you a discount if you donated a canned good. I think it's like $10/car or something like that.

Hm, most of the stuff we do is off Strip... we like Opportunity Village's Magical Forest, they have a train the kids can ride, some nice exhibits, raffles, food, sometimes some blow up slides and stuff like that. It's really pretty.

Don't miss the fountains of Bellagio, volcano of the Mirage, or the pirate show at TI. All of those are free outdoor shows you could see in one night walking along the Las Vegas strip.

Plan a day trip over to Hoover Dam. See the lions at the MGM habitat or the white tigers at the Mirage.

Watch a magic show. Mac King Comedy Magic and Extreme Magic with Dirk Arthur are both family friendly. Mac King is dirt cheap and Dirk Arthur has real white tigers in the show. Both are great for kids (or adults).
Check out the Flamingo Habitat at the Flamingo (how'd you guess?).
They might like riding the monorail or trams. They might also like riding on the deuce (double decker bus).

Go to the Excalibur's Tournament of Kings. Great dinner show. Lot's of excitement for kids of all ages. Plus the dinner is served with no eating utensils. The kids have to use their hands ... how awful will that be for them.

Drive over to Ethel M's Chocolate factory in the evening and walk through their cactus garden. They decorate it with christmas lights and it looks great.

Also, the Bellagio has a beautiful botanical gardens inside the hotel that is really something to see during the holidays. Very festive. There are fountains inside the gardens inside that "jump" from one place to another. The kids will think that is awesome!
