I've heard that the show Mystere at Treasue Island is one of if not the best show in Las Vegas. It has unbelievable acrobatics, great actors and is full of amazing live music. The seat prices are quite reasonable compared to many of the other show prices in Vegas and according to the many reviews I've read, worth every penny. I'm taking my mom to Vegas as well at the end of the year and this is the show I found that I am sure she will enjoy and that I might tolerate, but after doing quite a bit of research on it, I'm actually pretty excited about the show and I can't wait to see it.

If you mom loves to gamble, she won't want to do anything else but gamble! There are other things to do, but for those of us that gamble, there's nothing else in Vegas to do but gamble! If she plays the slots, she will get slot overload!! So have plenty of water and food handy!

Hey Big Fella,
That's really nice of you! Take your mom to a spa for the day. The MGM Grand has a great spa, look into that, or try the spa at the Bellagio! Also go see the white tigers, and there is a ton of shopping, she's love that. There are some great shows, that I'm sure she'll love.. look into "O" (the show).
Here are a few links to help you out for the weekend with your mom:

Yes. Take her to see Mystere at Treasure Island - a Cirque de Solei show and the cheapest of the 4 in town. Take her to the Madame Tressau Wav Museum and ride the gondola inside and/or outside The Venetian. Watch the volcano outisde the Mirage after dark and the pirate show outside in front of the Treasure Island. Enjoy a buffet or two.
Go to www.lasvegas.com or www.vegas.com and you will find mroe than enough to do.

Get away from the strip and see the surrounding area. Rent a car and go see Hoover dam. It is not to far.
Go some shopping malls or take a Grey bus line tour. There is a lot to do so enjoy!
