I have heard good things about it and am interested in moving there. It would be myself, my husband and our 2 daughters (2 & 5). We would want to start in an apartment in a decent area and was wondering if anyone could recommend any... 3 BR from $600-$800 a month. If not Ft. Collins, somewhere else beautiful in Colorado, but not in a major city. Thanks to answers!

i know that it definately has its bad spots! but, it also is an awesome place! i mean, it has everything! snow, sun, mountains, beaches, hikings, skiing....surfing. i know also that LA and stuff has a LOT of smog (ive seen it) and i'm not a big fan of hollywood. but places like mill valley, san simeon, and other coastal areas are beautiful. im not trying to get people mad, i just want to know why people don't like it.

We stayed at the Quality Suites Santa Ana, and our room was forced in with everything taken away while we went out for dinner. All of our luggages and personal stuffs were stolen, even with our coats. The hotel insisted that the room the provided is the same situation as we park our car in the parking lot, so they do not have to be responsible for the loss. The insurance agent also deny our claim with the same reason that the hotel is not responsible for the burglary because they have no wrongdoing. Since we are foreign tourists to the state, we don't know how to fight for our right. If anyone can let me know the step to fight for our right, I will very appreciate.

I have to go to San Digeo for 8 months.
It will be my first time in America and I don't know anything about the city.

Where are the "safe" places, (low crime, high income citizens).

Ever notice that in the Seattle area as soon as it gets cold enough to snow the sky is COMPLETELY clear and devoid of any clouds that might grant us some pretty snowflakes? I mean if it's gonna drop down to 29 degrees ya think Mother Nature would at least give us some flakes, eh?

You don't have to list the "obvious" places, such as Empire State Building, Central Park, and things like that...I was interested in popular stores and sites, such as ones frequented by celebrities, or ones that are popular otherwise...any opinions will help....thank you!!!

I'll be in Kissimme, florida in January but want to go to Marietta, Georgia on Jan. 5 for an event there, but I'm a bit short on cash so I want to know what the cheapest way to get there is. Like how much in gas money would it cost to drive there and back, or how much it would cost, if possible, to take a train, or any other way. Just as long as I can go there and back in a low budget. Also, i dont need a place to stay while I'm in Georgia. Its only for 1 day. Thanks.

A friend of mine and I are dying to move and we've chosen Seattle as our next home while right now we live in North Carolina. My question is: How would I go about securing a job and apartment in Seattle(we really want to live IN the city) while I'm here in North Carolina?

My friend and I recently went to Vegas. We ended up partying at a bar in our hotel, but we would have prefered to be in a club with people our own age. (over 40). Is there a bar or club that plays classic rock? We love to go dancing, and we would have rather been at an "old timers" bar, than with the kids our own kids age!!
