Can anyone suggest some "must see" places or things to do. We're a young couple (22-24). I want to make the most of this trip.

There are several links that will help

Also, go to www.lvrj.com and look on Fridays at the "neon section" which will give you more of what to do, shows, food, entertainment.

Your age group likes the night life and there are hordes of clubs like Pure, LAX, etc. The issue is the cost when you get inside of drinking. Most do not open until about 11:00 p.m.

Have you got your reservation yet? Because each hotel/casino has a different focus. Luxor (the pyramid) just went from Egypian to your age group, including a new night club.

There is no really bad place on the Strip, though some of the older properties like Sahara, Circus Circus, Riveria, Imperial Palace, Tropicana. I would not stay at one of those. Where depends on how much you want to spend for a room since some properties are signficantly more expensive than others such as Wynn and Venetian.

Be prepared to walk and walk to some properties so plan your routes. Join the Players Clubs because some have free sourveniors, 2/1 food discounts, and generally invite you to come stay at the casino in the future at a reduced rate. But remember nothing in Vegas is free.

There are other activities besides gaming. Of course there are shows - at least four Cirque. Love, the newest, are hard tickets to get. The best and least pricey is Mystere. There are some Broadway plays here at times. There is Madame Touseau Wax Museum/Paris, Gogenheim Museum/Venetian, and others.

Downtown is okay but I found the Fremont Experience a ho-hum. Outside of the Strip corridor we have a regular town, too.

How do I know? This has been our home for almost forty years.

I would suggest visiting the Venetian and having a ride on the gondala boats.

A gondalier drives the boats through the Venetian's Indoor or outdoor canals

Just remember this: Whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas (take a lot of cash and condoms).
