When I go on holiday to LA, I don't wanna spend a lot of cash traveling.

I am staying in Universal City, and was wondering what is the best way to get there from LAX?

Universal Studios is a short work.

I think I can take the subway to Hollywood, can anyone tell me if it's safe, complicated?

& Magic Mountain, in Valencia.

What would be the best recommendations?

I want to relocate to Washington state. I'm struggling with what area to move to within the state. I'm looking for a city, area, town, or suburb that is very picturesque, with lovely flowers, landscaped streets and yards, green lawns, water and watefountains (that one is a biggie for me), attractive storefronts/malls, etc. For some reason, I need to be surounded by beauty and tranquility. What is the prettiest place to live in Washington? Thanks for your comments. You will really be helping out someone who needs to relocate but can't decide where.

I need a change of scenery in my life right now and am wondering if Miami is a city I should move to. I grew up in the SF Bay Area and have lived in San Diego for the past 6 years. I love it here but I have lived in CA my whole life and want to live somewhere away from the West Coast. After living in SD I realized I love the beach and need to live near the water and I prefer warmer climates so i though Miami might be a cool city to consider moving to. So just wondering if anyone has moved from CA, either Northern or Southern CA, to South Florida and what they thought of it? Also what is the city and area like compared in general and what's it like compared to SD? I have an urban studies and planning degree and am currently a junior transportation planner, so hopefully there are jobs related to those fields available in the area, if anyone knows about that please let me know.

I just basically want to know what Miami is like and if it's a good city to move to?

I want to be near the MGM grand and atleast a mile from the main strip. Its my girlfriends 21st and I got a good rate for thursday night but having trouble for Friday. I want to find a hotel for around 100 bucks or below on friday. It don't have to be in a big name just close enought where we can be really drunk and not have to walk 5 miles to get there. Any ideas please! I'm going in circles online.

I grew up in the south bronx when it was bad... we did all it all, and I mean things that kids out there would never repeat.
But I grew up moved to San francisco and now I'm a SAP
engineer.
Whenever I visit the city and go out I want to throw up whenever I see these nyc transplants touting "well we're from nyc so things are tougher out here",or" we're faster paced than you guys out there"...In my opinion New york is nothing like the cultural melting pot that I remember.
You can't even get into a decent nightclub unless you're buying a bottle of overpriced champagne.
The people seem so fake and concerned with sleeping with as many people as possible.
The streets are dirty, requiring copious amounts of face wash to remove the layers of soot.
People from new york are not what they used to be...What happened to the love? what happened to our P.R pride parade? What happened to The vibe at the clubs?
Places like the tunnel, twilo, vinyl(the arc) ,Palladium?

I want to live somewhere next to a big city. I am 26. I don't want to live in NYC, particularly, but I do want to live where there are singles that are my age. I thought about moving to Vermont. I think that it is a really pretty area and there is a college there that I am interested in, but I'm afraid that there won't be anyone like me. What are some other big cities that have a lot of people that are in New England? Thank you!

I am looking to buy a home in the SF Bay area peninsula, and see some promising places in Redwood Shores. Broad overviews of the pros and cons of the city would be much appreciated.

From what I understand from my limited research, it seems to be a southern version of Foster City. I'd especially appreciate thoughts on neighborhood atmosphere, safety, earthquake safety (engineered landfill?), and the like.

Thanks very much!

I am trying to get me and my family (brother and parents) from Dallas to Boston and am considering just renting a car and driving as opposed to paying $300 per plane ticket. Do car rental place allow this? Is it really cheaper? I called one place but he said that they don't do that, does this apply to all car rental places? If not, are there any other alternatives? I would use my own car but I'm afraid it's not too reliable and am scared that it'll stop going halfway there! I also don't know anyone who will be willing to let us drive 1400 miles x2! Any help would be appreciated thanks!

I need suggestions and recommendations. I know how to go to hotel.com, expedia, etc. but if you know nothing about the area, it's hard to determine what is a nice place that's also in a nice, safe part of the city. My sis and her hubby are looking to spend a weekend there, seeing Monticello and are looking for a nice, maybe even romantic place to stay. Thanks in advance!
