from New York to State college in PA and from State college to chicago?

I will be in JFK airport,
how can i get to state college in PA and how long does it take?
what about State college to Chicago?

Don't use mapquest especially out of NYC .
Calling mapquest next to useless would be kind.
How are you planning on getting there ?
If you're not driving then the only way to do it is by using Greyhound buslines from the Port Authority in Manhattan
From JFK to the Port Authority
AirTrain to Jamaica-end of the line
Long Island Rail Road to Penn Station
Walk the 7 blocks [ 7/20 mi] uptown to the Port Authority or take cab

Greyhound NYC to State College
2 buses a day 10:00am & 1:30:pm-
7 hour travel time
State College to Pittsburgh
Lv SC 5:20 PM
Arr Pitt 10:25PM
Amtrak
Lv Pitt 11:55PM
Arr Chi 8:40 AM
Its about a mile from the bus to the train in Pittsburgh -use a cab

U Chicago, Notre Dame and Williams & Mary are probably the best on that list. Those schools are great. I had similar stats to you however and was able to get into Penn, Cornell, Notre Dame, and Johns Hopkins. You should probably apply to Ivies and similar schools as well. If you are a minority student you have a really good shot at Harvard, Stanford, Princeton Etc. Also top schools usually have pretty good financial aid packages. I chose Cornell over Penn because I was able to go tuition free.(Which is still thousands for room and board and the like, but still awesome.)

It depends on how you intend to travel. If by car, go to www.mapquest.com. Input NYC to State College and it will give you a route, distance and travel time. Same for Chicago.

If you wish to go by plane, go to www.travelocity.com and input your starting and stopping points.
