Please help! We are taking a weekend trip to Vegas for one night. My BF has never been to Vegas so I want to stay in a casino on or very close to Strip so he can get full experience. I have about $110 to spend on a hotel room but every search I come up with is $150+ since we are staying on a Saturday night... please help!!!

I'm planning on moving a short distance away. I've decided to hire movers because I simply can't do it myself and I can't bring myself to ask friends and family for help.

I would be perfectly fine with hiring them to move all of the heavy stuff...and then move the smaller boxes myself on my own time.

My boyfriend and my 2 kids want to move, we need to get away from our controlling families. I am looking for any advice on moving across country, how much to save up, a realistic time table, jobs and apartment advice and anything else that you think would help. I asked a question on where should I move to if I go Atlanta, while the majority of people say the North is safer and stay away from the south. I looked at demographics of the area and it turns out North ATL has a higher percentage of caucasians and South has a larger population of black people. The stats for Washington D.C are also the same, the North East and South East -more blacks..deemed a high crime area... while the North WEst and South West have more caucasians and it is called safer, based on my internet research. Is this just some form of stigma for these and most other cities? Because where I live now, is deemed a high crime part of FL of course there are more blacks, but I feel totally safe and have been incident free since being here. So what's the deal?

I'm 26 years old and relocating from west jersey - I'm looking to move to either Manhattan or Brooklyn here's what I want and please read carefully, if you could suggest some areas based on this stuff let me know please:

1. Manhattan or Brooklyn area

2. 1 bedroom apartment

3. SAFE area

4. I can afford about $1200 per month for rent

5. great if I could find a complex w/ laundry on site if not, it's okay

6. easy commute into midtown, around BK, etc. b/c I don't own a car

how easy is it to food shop, get to nightlife, etc. in NYC b/c I don't have a car....
