what are some good places to get my hair done in new york? preferrably around the garment district or the chelsea district, midtown south, or the flatiron district anywhere in that general area. thanks!

Astor Place Haircuts near Broadway. They cut the hair of the famous, who weren't then so famous.

I go to Panyc Salon on 15th near 8th Ave. It costs $55 the first time you go and $45 afterwards. I've always gotten good haircuts there.

walk in the area is worth the window shopping, you'll gonna love it.
