I'm going to be vacationing there in mid-Feb next year and I really have no idea where to use as a base. Can anybody recommend a nice town that's within an hour of the Kennedy Space Center?

Thanks!

Edit: thanks for the Daytona & Cocoa suggestions; I'm looking for somewhere less well-known. Thanks again!

Consider St. Augustine. It is very historic. Of course it all depends on what kind of place you are looking for.

I like Bethune Beach, which is just a little north of the Space Center. It's pretty small, and it's not really well-known, so I've always found it to be peaceful and relaxing.

It would be an excellent base.

you are able to not spend 4 days on the gap center. there is the police hall of acceptance, area camp and of direction the gap center. in the experience that your loved ones likes nature in case you stress out in the direction of Playlinda sea coast they have a nature path you are able to stress on. i don't comprehend how lots flora and fauna would be out in spite of the incontrovertible fact that simply by it being fairly heat good now. I do believe in spite of the incontrovertible fact that on that very same street they have a nature center. it somewhat is incredibly lots it. there is Jungle Village it somewhat is a relatives relaxing center, it somewhat is extremely crowded most of the time.
