I grew up on Long Island am now 25. I have always loved NYC and spent as much time as I could there. Long Island is nice, but there is absolutely nothing to do. My fiance of 4 years who just broke up with me lived there and as long as I dated her, I spent a lot of time there, and I absolutely fell in love with the prospect of living in the city, the only thing is I can't afford it right now. What are the pros and cons of living there, I know I wouldn't need my car anymore.

I think it will be mostly upper middle class and rich. But there will be several clusters of black and immigrant communities.

I think the average 3 bedroom home in Nassau and Western Suffolk County will cost $700,000.

Sunrise Highway and the LIE will be more crowded than they alraedy are. I think homes will be jammed up on to properties like in Queens.

What do you think it will be like?

I think areas like Wyandanch, Bellport, Roosevelt, Hempstead and other similar communities will have mini-mansions. There will be little open space.

I am trying to get to Westhampton Beach from the Philadelphia area in New Jersey. I am just wondering how a guy in his 20's without a car can get there without making it a huge expense. I am trying to surprise my girlfriend, so I can't ask her how. As specific as possible would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

My fiance and I are going to disney world for 14 days in May 2008.

Rates are not out yet but I've put a down payment on the room (to hold it) and I will be making the entire reservation in the end of August. Right now the total cost of the room is about 1,600 dollars (rounded up from 1,557) and the flight is about 600 (rounded up from 500)..

All together I'm rounding the trip up to cost about 2,500 dollars/3,000 dollars when everything is all said and done.

All said and done OTHER THAN spending money. We are staying in a resort hotel and will not be getting a rental car. So a trip to the grocery store once we're down there might be difficult. How much money should we look to spend (each) on food in one day (for 2 adults)

I know a lot of places in Vegas have these unadvertised specials, but I want to make sure I'm not irritating the waitress by asking. What is the proper etiquette for this? Also, where are the best gamblers specials?

I have read how it was supposed to be extended to the airport on one end and to downtown on the other several years ago. Are those expansion plans dead, or just delayed? I know they were originally delayed because there were not enough passengers to justify. Has that changed? I really like the Monorail. Great for getting from one area of the strip to another. Expanding to downtown would increase ridership a lot, I would think. It's slow to get down there now on the Deuce (although a good bargain). Would really like to be able to get to the airport on it too.

My husband and I are going to Las vegas in a couple of days. What are some fun activities that we could take part in (besides gambling). Maybe some good clubs, shows, etc. Also, who has the best buffet. We heard Bellagio had a pretty good one.
