Me and a friend are going to do a roadtrip around through Montana, Idaho, Washington, oregon states.

We both love the idea of seeing roadside attractions like the worlds largest ball of string etc etc. Has anyone have any ideas of tacky tourist attractions that might be worth seeing?? or any good wibsites worth a look at?? i already know about roadsideamerica.com.

Thanks

Let's see, the world's largest egg (in a manner of speaking) is in Washington, near Mount St. Helens.

The Miracle of America Museum in Polson, Montana, is pretty unusual.

The web site below has those two and bunches of others. Just don't forget to go see Glacier National Park, Mount St. Helens, Mount Rainier, the Columbia River basin, etc.

i've got made a residing traveling around the rustic as a trucker, and that i will tell you what truckers understand. Plot your holiday to comprise a number of the the US highways. i might say to take the I-seventy 8 from massive apple to the I-eighty one South, then down by using Penn, WV, VA & Tennessee. you may capture the 40 west from there all a thank you to California; it was the previous direction sixty six, partly. From Santa Monica run the Pacific Coast street up California to San Francisco. Heading back, run the I-eighty east to the 395. Take that north all a thank you to the Columbia River. Run the ninety 4 east back for the time of. That one holiday provide help to work out the very best.

in Jamestown north Dakota they have a large statue of a buffalo outside of town (if they have not taken it down ).
then you could go towards wall south Dakota and hang out
there or go to Mitchell north Dakota and see the corn palace
(the facade is made out of millions of corn colonels ) and mount Rushmore .
