I am looking for a place similar to Solvang CA (Solvang is Danish themed) except German in atmosphere. Basically, I am looking for German cafes/restaurants, German bakeries and made in Germany gifts.

Hermann Missouri. It was settled by German immigrants in the late 1800s and has some of the finest German architecture and dining anywhere. They also boast German wineries as well.
