I want to go to clubs where the majority of black people hangout. Would anyone have some recommendations? It seems I'm only interested in magic shows..What else shold I do there. I'm 26 and I don't wanna see Berry Manilow or Tom Jones...Any suggestions anyone?

I asked this same question a while ago, and the only suggestion I got was club OPM. It's the only club on the strip geared towards r&b and hip hop music. One of the resident dj's is Kid Capri.

I have never been there, but I'll be going to Vegas in August, so I will be checking it out. If you go before me, please email me and let me know how you liked it.

By the way, when I asked this question, I got called racist too. For those who think a question like this is "racist", there is nothing wrong with wanting to hang around your own people and enjoying your own culture. It becomes "racist" when you start degrading and disrespecting people of other races and cultures. If someone likes hip hop, why would they want to go to a club that plays metal, or country, and vice versa?

OPM is a popular spot. They play R&B, the crowd is not all black but a good mixture of ppl.

Also the Icehouse Lounge which isn't on the strip but in downtown LV near the Outlet mall.

Try the Indigo Lounge at Bally's. They feature black groups and have some of the best Motown, funk, R&B, and Soul music I've ever heard. The crowd is racially mixed but I don't think you will feel uncomfortable at all. There is no cover charge either.

check out OPM at caesars palace. instead of a magic show, check out a hypnotist show... like anthony cools, but read his reviews, it may be too lewd for some people.
