I want to go parasailing in San Diego. I've looked at www.goparasailing.com but I don't think their prices are reasonable. The site says the boat ride is approximately one hour and each person gets about 7 min. of parasailing. It costs $70...so basically $10/min? Is there any other place that has more reasonable pricing?

Would you advise taking currency, travellers cheques or using visa card? How much would you take if mixing all three. Im buying attraction tickets before we go, so money will be for food and shopping.

I recently found out that I've got a rare disease that will probly kill me in about 10 years. I am from Australia and I've probably got about 50,000 australian to get me to LA and get a job and start looking for acting work. I have been acting here for a long time and done some television gigs but now that I'm a gonner I have to just pack my bags and take the plunge before I end up a vegetable. I need to know from people living there what my best course of action would be as I know a lot about the industry in oz but nothing about it in hollywood. I need some insider info please.

My family got 2 extra days in the North East. 3 days will be spent in NYC and NYC only, and the remainding two seems to be the tough part, where. The choices as stated above are DC, Penn, or Niagra Falls, and I'm sure this will have to be an overnight trip.

I got $400 for my birthday and want to use it here, I'm 21 and my 14 year old sister will come along with her own money. Which of the 3 will give us the most experience and fun for our money? Can you tell me the pros and cons of the places and what's the most affordable and quickest way to get there from Newark.

My friend and I want to go, but my parents would have to take us and it's about 8 hours away. My parents don't want to ride any of the rides, but it costs $55 to get in. Instead of paying the extra $110 is there anything in Gurnee, Illinois to do or what are my options so we can go?

My girlfriend and I saw them in Vegas a few years ago and loved it. We're going to Vegas next week and are contemplating seeing them again. Will it be a different show or just a rehash? Any other show recommendations?

My family and I are moving to San Antonio in August and looking to buy a home but don't know the area. We need something with a relatively short commute to Lackland, that is very safe (little kids), good schools, under $150,000. I have heard that the north side of town is the best. What area is Lackland considered to be in? If any one can give me zip codes or school districts to look in that would be a huge help! Thanks!
