My boyfriend and I are trying to get a place in Pensacola, FL for the weekend. All the hotels we have found are 15 miles from the beach or $179+ a night.
If you know of any "unknowns" that I may try (such as some that may not be listed on the internet) I would really appreciate your input! Or perhaps if you own a place that you would rent out to us? Thank you in advance!

I am very cheap and in past when we have gone to Disney we have saved lots of money by packing a lunch. We are a family of four so any money that we can save is very important to us.

I am planning a vacation for us when my husband gets back from deployment. We have an autistic son who will be 5 by the time we embark on this trip. I saw a news item about a gun runner purchasing .50 cal sniper rifles legally there in the US and shipping them by the hundreds in twos and threes to Albania through multiple exit points. Geez, do you what a .50 cal can do!? Does that mean that ordinary US citizens can ship/carry their TEC-9s and Glock 22s into Africa and Latin America with just bribery money and some contacts?
Hope this post doesn't give any Americans not-so-funny ideas about profitting from global commerce.
