I love NYC and London. If you love NYC, you'll love London, they are both two of the world's greatest cities. Because NYC has more people and things in a smaller area, it is easier to get around in and seems more concentrated. The prices are a fraction of what they are in London. That's not true of apts, but you can get some reasonable housing in Queens. Whenever I go on vacation I check out the merchandise of the company I am going to in NYC stores that specialize in those items. Except for Mainland China, Hong Kong, Eastern Europe and Haiti, the merchandise is usually cheaper in NYC, especially with Mexican silver, and I don't have to pay duty or lug it around with me. By the way, another good city is Budapest. Wonderful food and and cosmetics and they like Americans. It's a much cheaper, nicer Paris. Just be careful which cab you catch as some of the companies have illegal meters (the guidebooks tell you which ones to take).

I have been to New York City, Paris, and London. Out of all of them, New York City was my favorite for plain old just having fun. London and Paris are very different cities from NY. For the most part, Paris and London are very low - in fact, in London you can't have a building higher than five-stories! Of course, all of the three power-cities have great shopping for girls, but Paris by far has the coolest monuments! You can't beat the grandeur of The Arc D'Triomphe or the Eiffel Tower. In London, Westminster Abbey remains the most powerful and historically significant cathedral of all time. You come within inches of the bodies of the greatest monarchs to rule England. That is an experience that is unique on its own.
So, although Paris and London can't be beat on grandeur of buildings and historicalness, NYC is the best for just plain fun. It is a such an alive city full of people ready to have a blast, that you just don't want to leave.
Ofcourse, all fo the cities mentioned are great.

I've lived in London all my life and just came back from NYC... it's amazing!! I loved it and I didn't want to leave. The shops, the sights, it's all fantastic. But I still think something was missing in NYC. The people are way more advanced here in London. London rocks!!!! (and Paris doesn't come close to either.)
p.s. read the new york magazine's article on which city is better - NY has had it's time. baby.

ny and London are exceptionally comparable places. They the two are extremely cultural. They the two have super theater. the two are extremely different besides the actuality that London is greater different, yet i've got confidence that, it incredibly is a minimum of slightly because of the fact that is definitely greater bodily related to different places and cultures. i visit vote ny on account that is an extremely super place and because it incredibly is quite misunderstood. only because of the fact Time sq. is crowded it would not recommend that sizable apple is a crowded place. incredibly, a marvelous type of the folk in Time sq. are vacationers no longer New Yorkers. And no, no longer all and sundry living in Brooklyn will wreck your face. ny certainly has a ton of history besides the actuality that, it incredibly is genuine that's no longer almost as old as London. P.S. Its extremely thrilling how each and each of the votes for sizable apple are hidden as a results of low rankings.

New York, for too many reasons to mention right now. New York has beautiful weather for one, London can seem very gloomy at times. But there are many other reasons.

I've lived in both for years, and NY for me was better! Both are great cities but I had a wonderful time in NYC....better weather, more fun, people a bit more open and friendly (believe it or not!)....but I am sure you'll have a good time in either place to be honest!
