I am very cheap and in past when we have gone to Disney we have saved lots of money by packing a lunch. We are a family of four so any money that we can save is very important to us.

We have been there before and have not had a problem taking in snacks. I have each of my kids carry them in their own backpack. Works fine.

I can't see why not. The only thing that will not be fun is carrying it all around. Unless when you get there find some centrally located lockers and store your stuff there so you can run around freely. I was at Six Flags in Fort Worth a few years ago. It was about 105F and my husband and I were not exactly rich people. Anyway, standing in lineup and going on rides, you got dehydrated quickly. I was so mad as the cheapest drink I could find was $7! That is ridiculous since it cost like $22/day/person on top of it. I was not impressed, and had wished I had known that before we arrived. I would have packed a backpack with bottled water and snacks too. I think you are smart for doing that...they love to gouge you.

They will allow you to but be respectful of throwing items away because FL is loaded with bugs and noone wants to go the parks if they are infested :)
