I'm moving to chicago and I dont want to live IN the downtown area but I need to be close by because my fiance is a news reporter and will work downtown... What are the really nice suburb areas? Near downtown but just outside...any areas like that? Any sites I could check out? thanks

We are starting out in L.A., staying Downtown.. not sure how far everything is from there and if there is much to do around. Secondly we are off to San Fran then to Vegas and finally New York where we will be for Christmas. Looking for opinions from those who live, have lived, or have been to the Boca Raton area, this includes nearby beaches of Deerfield and Delray, but looking mainly for in Boca. What is the best beach for a family, with children ages 2 (almost 3) and 10? we would like them to have other kids to play with, and heard the Boca beaches are sparse with people. also, looking for playground on the beach, bathrooms are a plus too.

we are moving to Boca Raton in a few months. I want to know if there are any beach clubs in the area that a family can join?
By beach club, I mean a place that would be on the beach, have a pool, cabanas, facility, social events, etc.
If there is no beach club per se, then do the hotels or condos on the beach have any kind of membership where you can join, so you can use the pool and beach area?

2 friends of mine and myself are looking for an "off the beaten trail" type campsite that isn't anywhere near the Wisonsin Dells. We're 15 years old(girls), and looking for a campsite (possibly non-R.V?) like Bois Brule, the campsite all three of us and our dad's went to last year on Memorial Day weekend. We all are up for a "nature adventure" so it doesn't, and proboabally shouldn't, have playgrounds, designated swim area's etc. Also, of course, we'd like it to have senic views and river/lake access.
