I am going to vegas in a week and i'm wondering what the best way to get around vegas is. Do you know the prices and what is the most convenient ways? I'm mostly thinking of getting around the strip but we are also considering renting a car for the day. Where do you go to get the cars? Do you have to go back to the airport to rent one?

Im planning a trip there in June and staying at a resort on international dr which doesnt provide shuttle services. I dont want to rent a car since they add an extra $25/d just because im 24 (need to be 25 to rent at the regular price). Do any of the buses or trolley provide transportation to the parks?? I don't have a whole lot of money but am looking ofr a nice place to live. I'd say I'm a little average when it comes to the amount of money i have to spend. I have a good feeling that I may have the career opportunity to participate in a professional music workshop in Los Angeles for 4 weeks come July this year. I can't pass this up, but the problem is that I live in NJ and I work a 9 to 5. Although the 9 to 5 is a contracting job, not permanent.

I don't know anyone off hand in Los Angeles or the Orange County area that I could stay with. I would fly out there, and take public transportation to and from the workshop everyday.

I'm wondering if anyone might have any ideas of what type of temporary living options are there to live in LA for 4 weeks, for as cheap as possible? Just have to eat, sleep, and stay safe. And by the way, I'm not rich by any means, so if anyone might know of any type of public or federal stipend I might be able to apply for something like this, it would be a HUGE help!!!!!
