im 21, is that too young to live there and still have a good tme?

encinitas closes at nighttime. its more of a family place. its really chill, a lot of older hippies and that kind of crowd. you would have to do what everyone else in san diego does, drive to have fun. lol good luck

Encinitas and North County in general is more suburban and family oriented. It's really laid back and kind of quiet, there really isn't a younger bar scene there. Downtown Carlsbad has a good bar scene with lots of young people drinking and having fun. There are young people that live up there but it's not as concentrated as PB/MB and definately on the quieter side. Pacific Beach and Mission Beach is much more lively and full of young people. Most people in PB are between 20-30. It's a much more party oriented town and has a large concentration of young people. You can still have a good time in Encinitas but probably would have a better time in Pacific Beach or Mission Beach.

Encinitas is much more laid back that PB or Mission Beach. These beaches cities have a very active night life and lots of young adults partying. Encinitas is more of a family and surfer crowd.

encinitas is DANK!! u should chill @ moonlight beach, or stonesteps and go SURFING!!
