Myrtle Beach rooms and public beaches?

Question

I would like to find a moderately priced ($75-$100) clean place to stay in Myrtle Beach (or the area) that is close to public access to the beach or on the beach. We would be a family of 4 visiting this summer. Thanks for your ideas!

if it is in yoyur budget i would recommend renting a condo for the week..we are going there this august and i found a 1 bedroom condo with king bed,sleeper sofa and a murphy bed, and the condo has a full kitchen with all cooking utensils included,5 pools,2 lazy rivers and alot more for 1100 for 7 nights...walk from the pool to the beach

I go to Mrytle Beach a lot and have been to many hotels. My favorite ones have been the Kingston Plantation Resort at North Myrtle Beach and the Landmark. If you want to save alot of money then go to www.priceline.com to save up to 50% than you would elsewhere.

There are several that I like to stay at:

Baywatch resort: a little bit higher depending on when you go. But very nice. 3 towers all with pools, several outdoor, and lazyriver.

Landmark resort: in your price range unless you are going around holidays. Very nice, newly remodeled, and has its on parking deck(which can be a problem so places) Large indoor pool, hot tubs, and lazy river

Seamist: This resort has its own water park and you can get tickets to the amusement park discounted. My brother in law stays with his two kids there alot and loves it.

There is a brand new resort called Bay View Resort. It is near the pavillion and the pier. It is a upscale condotel with all the amenties. They all are one two or three bedrooms with pull pullout sofa, Full kitchens including washer and dryer. www.bayviewresort.com
