Looking for opinions from those who live, have lived, or have been to the Boca Raton area, this includes nearby beaches of Deerfield and Delray, but looking mainly for in Boca. What is the best beach for a family, with children ages 2 (almost 3) and 10? we would like them to have other kids to play with, and heard the Boca beaches are sparse with people. also, looking for playground on the beach, bathrooms are a plus too.

Try this website to see if Red Reef Park is of interest to you...http://www.gbrbpd.com/redreef.asp, otherwise I would recommend Hollywood Beach...they have a Broadwalk (not a boardwalk), with shops, live music, places to bike and rollerblade, and playgrounds. Hollywood North Beach Park is one area of the beach that is not so commercial if you'd like ...www.broward.org/parks

Hi. I was at one of the pay Boca beaches in the late 90's, and I remember it being quiet and uncrowded. However, I was at Deerfield Beach in 2005. It was right near Hillsboro Blvd. There were alot of families there, but it wasn't overly crowded or anything. They did have restrooms there, but I am not sure about a playground.
