i live in new jersey im 16 me and my friend are going to the city on friday and usually we go to shop but we kind of want to go to hang out preferably somewhere that costs minimum money and where we wont be thought of as "tourists" where should we go???

ok so my school which i hate!!! is going on a school trip to colorado to go skiing and snowboarding (i live in tx) i didnt really want to go cuz i dont like most of the ppl who go to my school i go to a private school so theres only about 75 kids in my class i like about 6 of them anyway but my teacher found out i didnt want to go and she said that i should and she explained to me how much fun it would be and now im sure if i wanna go or i dont the trip last for a week....any advice?

I'm spending a couple of nights in San Francisco first week in March. I'm looking for a clean, safe hotel within walking distance of Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, etc. Something around the $100-$120 range is about what I'm looking at price wise. Doesn't have to be fancy, but clean and safe are a must.

My best friend and I will be in San Francisco for just one day. I've been to the China Town Web site, but I can't determine the exact place we should start there. Is the Disney Boardwalk between the two? Can you walk there on the way? How long would this take, would it be an hour break or would it be like a whole afternoon thing? I often enjoy a nice walk in good weather and I prefer to avoid waiting in lines whenever possible.

I have recently been researching B&Bs and Inns in Boston, specifically Gryphon house and Newbury Guest House. Are these places as safe as a hotel? I would like to be able to stay someplace where i can pretty much walk to all the area attractions. Are these places nice, or do you have any other suggestions?
