Drive-in Movies - Summer Ave.
Putting Edge - Peabody Mall, glow-in-the-dark golf.
Ride The Ducks- a fun tour of Memphis.
Memphis Botanic Gardens- if you're into flowers.
Rock n'Soul Museum - learn about rock n roll.
Memphis Redbirds/FedEx Forunm - if you enjoy baseball.
Memphis Grizzlies/ FedEx Forum - if you enjoy basketball.
Gibson Guitar Factory - interesting, especially if you love music.
National Civil Rights Museum - see where MLK Jr. was assassinated, breathtaking.
Children's Museum of Memphis - a must see if you have kids.
Carriage Tours - located on Beale St.
Trolleys - I like the Riverfront loop - beautiful at night. And let me be the 10th person to recommend Beale St! You HAVE TO go there. Welcome to Tn.!

I'm no expert but off the top of my head: you could go see the ducks in the fountain at the Peabody Hotel, gvo to the Stax Museum of American Soul Music--Stax was the label of Otis Redding and many more, eat BBQ, catch musicon Beale Street, visit the National Civil Rights Museum at the old Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King was murdered, visit Sun Studio, where B. B. King, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and others first recorded, the the Memphis Belle b52 on Mud Island.

Well you can go to Beale St downtown, go to Suns Studio, The Orpheum, Take a ride on the Queen (river boat rides), you definitally have to eat some bbq and ribs...either go to Corkey's BBQ or the Rendevue. If you want the worlds best chicken then eat at Gus's Fried Chicken, hamburgers eat at Hueys or Dyers.....mmmmm what else there is plenty to do here, oh ya you can go and check out where Dr. MLK was shot. I forget the name of the hotel but he was shot here. You can cross the bridge and go bet on the dog races at the dog tracks. However you will find the majority of your entertainment downtown on Beale St. If you are into the clubs then I would suggest Senses on Poplar Ave or Alfreds, Club 152, or Silkies all on Beale
here is some more stuff to do

Well I live in Memphis...and there isn't a whole lot to do here...lol
-There is a museum called the Pink Palace somewhere downtown and it is cool and has imax in it (360 degree screen theater)
-Also lots to do and see on Beile Street
-The Fedex forum holds sports games for the memphis team, the grizzlies, and has concerts in it at random times.
-And there is the Memphis Zoo...but its very cold outside and they might have closed for a bit im not sure
Hope this helped and good luck with your trip...I might even see you and not know it
