I'm looking for the Southwest including Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma.

Brick, hardiplank, and lately, stucco. Not many basements, though - our ground shifts and here in south Texas, it is too close to sea level.

Where I live ( The Woodlands, Texas) the big trends are stone, brick and stucco. Good Luck with your search!

Just about anything but snow... (here in Houston everything from glass to wood to stone to brick to stucco)

My husband is from Phoenix AZ. When we visit it looks like stucco, but his families houses are brick and stone, like up here in Ohio. They don't seem to have basements like we do up here though.
