I have recently been researching B&Bs and Inns in Boston, specifically Gryphon house and Newbury Guest House. Are these places as safe as a hotel? I would like to be able to stay someplace where i can pretty much walk to all the area attractions. Are these places nice, or do you have any other suggestions?

I would like to stay under $150 a night if possible. Do you know anything about the Boston Park Plaza Hotel?

I travel to Boston a regular basis and stay right on Beacon and Tremont - at the Omni Parker House. On the other corner is the Nine Zero (higher end) or the Bostonian Millennium located at the Market are all close, but are not B&Bs...

I've never heard of the Gryphon House, but the Newbury Guest House is definitely in a safe area, and is convenient in terms of getting around. You might not be able to walk everywhere, but a T stop will be close by and take you wherever you need to go. There are a lot of beautiful hotels in the area as well, but I'm sure those can be very expensive. Have a good trip!

Newbury Guest house is lovely, and right in a great shopping area near lots of restaurants and attractions. The Parker House is also very well located and although the rooms are somewhat small, the service is wonderful. Never heard of the Gryphon house though!

The Omni Parker House is fabulous and right in the center of everything. Plus the hotel is full of history itself. JFK proposed to Jackie at Table 40 (I think this is the correct table #) in their Dining Room.

they are all regularly secure elements, assuming you take advantage of a small quantity of straightforward experience. do no longer start up problem, save your motel key and funds in a secure position, and so on. do no longer enable your spouse out previous due walking round on my own. . . .you recognize. . . .although, the Somerville l. a. Quinta isn't too close to any prepare stations, so that you may want to wish to both walk or take a bus or commute to a prepare station from there so although that is in basic terms as secure, that is not too reachable, till you intend on spending time around the Somerville section.
