Generally, having worked there, I would say to take the monrail at the TTC (ticketing and transportation center) to travel between MK and Epcot. In my experience the buses seem to arrive less frequently between the parks. If the park is busy, all bets are off.

The monorail is much faster. The busses often make stops along the way and they take a while to board.
You board the monorail at the Transportation and Ticket Center and it lets you right out at the front entrance to EPCOT! The trip takes about 6-7 minutes, tops. Be sure to ask a cast member if you and your party can sit in the very front of the monorail. It's a lot of fun. They do have a limit though - only 4 people or less can sit in the very front with the driver at a time.

Deffenitly the monorail. The buses take a very long time because often you have to stop at other hotels ect.. Plus, If you are picking up the bus from a very popular park like the magic kingdom there may be many lines for it especially in high season. Could take you up 40 minutes to get there when the monorail on average take you about 10-15 minutes. You only have to stop once and that is at the Contemperary Resort. Hope this helps! Have a great trip!

There isn't a bus to Epcot from Magic Kingdom. The only transportation is the monorail. It's about a 10 minute ride but you may have to wait 10 minutes or so.

Take the Monorail, it's a little quicker. Transportation vehicles run pretty often depending on the season. It's slow right now, so not as many vehicles running; but that also means you don't have to wait as long in line. I would seriously think about spending a whole day in each of those parks, it will take you that long to see everything good. If you got older kids/teens make sure to check out the Universal parks too.

Take the monorail, the only stop it makes are to the hotels I believe. If you took the bus you'd have to stop at waterparks, hotels, DD(Downtown Disney) and possibly other locations also. If you have kids, monorail, the change of scenery is good for them, plus the buses take a while to catch and are often times crowded. Monorails are a bit more roomy.
