Is it worth the money? I'm curious as to what exactly we're supposed to do on this tour. Do we just ride the trolley or do we stop somewhere?

I think that it is very complicate to go in Mexico in car.
If I just wish to spend a day in Tijuana, how easy would it be to go there in foot.
I am 49, with a Canadian passeport.

I'm flying from California to JFK on JetBlue and then about 12 hours later flying from Newark to Germany on Continental. My sister (travel buddy) and I were thinking of spending a few hours in Manhattan during our layover and are wanting to know if there is anywhere in the city where we could check our luggage while taking in the sites. Any suggestions?

I was originally thinking of buying my boyfriend a kayak, but am now thinking of spending a couple of days in Mendocino and doing a kayaking trip instead. It would be great to find a place for under $100/night betweeen 12/28 and 01/02.

I'd like to know which neighborhoods have rents that are inexpensive, at least by Chicago standards.

My only stipulations are:

A) I'd prefer not to get shot, mugged, or have my apartment broken into.

B) I have a car, so I would have to be able to park it somewhere. I don't have much cash to pay for parking, and I'd rather not park a mile away from where I live.

Other than those two things, I'm not picky. I live in a small studio right now, and that's probably what I'll rent in Chicago too. If you could also give me a ballpark price range for how much I could expect to pay in the neighborhoods you suggest, that would be greatly appreciated too!

Thanks!

I am looking for something special to do in Houston for that time period. Something that I can't find in other states. Visiting malls is just so boring. I have concluded all malls in America are basically the same. Anyway, something special please. Tell me your ideas! Thanks a lot! If there's a website on the event, please provide.
