Calumet City, Dolton, South Holland, Harvey, Blue Island, Markham, Homewood, Riverdale, Robbins, Midlothian... those are south.

How far south are you talking? Berwyn, Oak Lawn, Burbank, La Grange are all close to the South side. Further south would be Orland Park, New Lenox, Tinley Park, etc.
