This is a good place to get some feedback from residents in all areas. If you see something you like you can search under that complex's name.

If you want a new or almost new apartment there are many apartment finder services in the area that can help you. They work on no fee to you. Apartment Finders or Apartment Locator Service are two that can help you. Just do an internet search on "apartment finders Ft. Worth" and a whole bunch pop up.

Also try cityleases.com. This is a list of private rentals. Most are a bit higher than your number . . . but not outrageously so.

Ft. Worth is pretty big so you'll probably want to live close to where you work. You can take a drive around the prospective neighborhood and decide just how "nice" the neighborhood is.

Try checking out a little burb called Benbrook. It is very convenient to the expressway, quiet, not over-run with commercialism, has the basic necessities, and is a very nice place to live. Great schools and easy access to White Settlement area and also only about 15 minutes to downtown Ft. Worth.

Fort Worth is a rather large place, it would be easier if we knew what part of town you would be working in, or we could set you up for a two hour commute. Think of Fort Worth as a circle outlined by 820 and for the most part it starts inside the loop or outside the loop, then direction (north, southwest, center) Otherwise you could check some of the questions already answered about Fort Worth housing and see if any of them help you. Welcome.
