Paradise Cove is soooooo much better. Paradise Cove has things to do before the food comes. There is conoeing, spear throwing, flower leis and other activities for you to enjoy. Germaine's doesn't have anything to do, so if you have kids it wouldn't be the best. The food at Germaine's is not as variable, but the location is great. It's right on the ocean and you can see the sunset well.
Entertainment wise, Paradise Cove's is really great. Germaine's is good, but it takes longer to start. Overall, I think Paradise Cove is better if you want great entertainment, food and fun!

I have been to both, and think that Germaine's is better. But the best is at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The most authentic of Hawaiian foods next to mom's, who is hapa. The Royal Hawaiian Hotel has an excellent luau, but more touristy and pricey.

Hop a flight to Maui and go to the Old Lahaina Luau. It is the best. the other one's are overly commercial and not too authentic.

the best authentic one that i have heard of and have been too is germaine luau. it is your ultimate choice because what you think is good might be better than what others think.
