is it nice to live there? is it expensive? are the jobs alright there? i am in my early twenties and i'm looking to move there in a couple months.

Flint, next to Detroit, is one of the more dangerous areas to live in Michigan. A lot of Flint's industry is dependent on the auto industry and with the down turn in the auto industry, there have been lay offs in the area. I don't know what type of job you are seeking in the area, but I hope you have something in mind or have put applications in and have some prospects waiting. There are towns around Flint that are fairly nice, but don't live right in Flint if you can help it.

Flint, Michigan is currently on a decline. The population is declining, the crime rate is very high (the second highest in Michigan), and the economy is not doing very well and the future of Flint does not look very good.

i lived in Flint in 1994 - it was not a very likable place - the crime rate was really high and the unemployment rate was high. the school system seemed to suck and people didn't seem happy there. most of the employment relied on jobs from General Motors, which is still declining and closing plants and laying people off. From what I have heard it hasn't gotten any better.
I would recommend looking for another area to live - Grand Blanc is close by and pretty nice. or maybe try one of the suburbs of Detroit like Farmington, Rochester, Livonia, Novi, they are much better palces to live and try to find a job.

Flint Michigan is generally not a good place to live. It's very poor and there is a lot of Crime. Just watch Bowling for Columbine to get an idea.

I live in Grand Rapids. Flint is a very poor city and has a high crime rate. There are no jobs there. Don't move to Flint.
