I am taking a vacation to Orlando, FL on December 31st 2006 through January 7th 2007. Does anyone know what the theme park crowds will be like at Disney World, Seaworld, and Islands of Adventure? I am going for the Disney Marathon so that is an indicator that there will be some crowds and its also right after New Years. However vacation for most kids will be ending and they will have to go back to school. What do you think? Does anyone know what I should expext? Thanks!

I am planning a short trip to Chicago for a couple days between Christmas and New Years. Would like to be in a hotel that has easy access so we can walk to things instead of trying to drive. Any advice on a nice hotel to stay at that isnt extremely expensive? Also...What would be the 3 things you would most recommend to do while we are there (in the dead of winter!)
Thanks

My job is transferring me to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area...what is there to do and see in the area? And also, what are the people like? How does the culture differ from other parts of the States?

I am working in Overland Park, but want to live close to the nightlife areas. Money is not really an issue, so where do you suggest I start looking for apartments that are within walking distance of nightlife areas? Also, does public transportation run 24/7? Thinking maybe I could live on the outskirts of the city and take the buses to clubs and back, is that possible. Any suggestions on nightlife, living areas for young, single guy would be appreciated. THanks

From my experience of living several places in the south and living in the northeast of the U.S., southerners are polite but you do not know where you stand with many of them. You are more likely to know where you stand with the northerners. I have actually found some genuinely nice people in NYC! I am tired of the "fakeness" here in the south. Anyone with similar experiences/feelings?
